As many of you already know, Debbie Fitch, Senior Photographer at Lowside Magazine took a gnarly spill over the weekend, all things considered she is extremely lucky to be alive. She suffered a broken back in four places, a broken collar bone, ruptured spleen, sprained ankle, busted knee and a host of other scrapes, cuts and bruises. Deb and the Lowside Crew are some great friends and it sucks to see something like this happen to such a great person. There are going to be some really killer fundraiser events in the very near future to help offset the hospital bills and all of the other expenses that she will undoubtedly incur. We'll post all of the details as soon as they're sorted out. In addition to the fundraiser events, Lowside has put together a few alternate avenues to help raise money as well...
The first is this totally radical t-shirt, only $20 and all proceeds go directly to Deb. Hit up the Lowside store to get one before they're all gone, and while you're there, grab a copy of the magazine, you'll be glad you did.
Another way to help is to donate directly, a Give Forward page has been set up and you can contribute directly through the site as well as leave some words of encouragement. Check out the "Can't Keep Debbie Fitch down" page
Deb, we're all pullin' for ya, you'll be back on the bike and back behind the lens before you know it!
